32nd Annual Sacramento Karate Championships Tournament Rules

• MODIFIED WKF AND USANKF RULES
• Weapon (Kobudo) Division All Divisions will be Flag System
• 3 or 5 Judge Panel “Majority Vote Wins”
• All Kata Divisions will run 2 athletes at a time “Simultaneously”
• Beginner and Novice Divisions must perform a Pinan, Heian or a Beginner kata.
• Intermediate Division can repeat kata Only medal round they must perform a different kata.
•  Advance/Elite Kata Division 12 yrs and older must perform a different kata each round.

WKF Rules will be ENFORCED for ALL Advance/Elite Divisions Kata and Kumite.  

• Must wear a Red/Blue Belt, Fist Guards, Foot & Shin Guards.  

Kumite Rules:

• All non-advance/elite divisions 2 minutes Running Time Single Elimination.
• NOTE: NO FACE CONTACT 17yrs and under.  Any face contact with hands or foot will be pendalized.  
• Advance/Elite Division 12yrs. & older 2 minute “Stop Time with Repechage.

Liability Release and Consent:

I the undersigned, do hereby submit my application for participation in the 33rd Annual Sacramento Karate Championships at Cosumnes River College on Saturday June 6,  2026 and hereby assume full liability for all damages, injuries, or losses that I may sustain or incur while participating and hereby waive all claims against the promoters, operators, sponsors, and/or officials of the Sacramento Karate Championships for any injury that I may sustain. I fully understand that any medical treatment given will be of a first-aid nature only. IF UNDER 18, THIS RELEASE FORM MUST BE SIGNED BY PARENT OR GUARDIAN.
